Dermal Anchors are small "L" shaped anchors, placed just under the skin.
They are easily inserted and as you will see from the 2 pictures they each have 3 holes in them. This is to allow tissue to "grow" into the holes and this is where the word Anchor comes from. While being a permanant fixture they are not too hard to remove. Most dermals are taped for the first 10 days so we do not often get many pictures but as the popularity for them grows, so will the picture file. The 3 running down the center of the girls chest were inserted by Bob. All others will have the piercers name on them.
